Plastics are often used to hold and store food. Not all plastics are created the same. Even with the best of plastics, caution should be used with their use. Heating food in plastics increases the molecular activity in the plastic and increases the likelihood that the plastic will leach into the food that is in them.

Aloe #1 Aloe Vera Gel is kept frozen. The cold temperature decreases the molecular activity in the plastic and decreases the likelihood of leaching into the fresh frozen aloe vera gel.
